CHARLES DICKENS
- born on February 7, 1812 in England.
- He had eight siblings His father was,John Dickens his profession was a naval , who dreamed of being rich. Charles mother was Elizabeth Barrow,wanted to be a teacher and school director.
- They moved to Camden Town, a poor neighborhood in London.His father was sent to prison for debt. Charles was forced to leave school and he work at a boot-blacking factory .Dickens was allowed to go back to school when his father received a family inheritance and used it to pay off his debts. But when Dickens was 15, his education was pulled out from under him once again.
- In 1865, he was in a train accident and never fully recovered, however he continued to tour.
- June 9, 1870, he had a stroke and at age 58, died in his country home Kent, England.
